As leaders of organizations in the field of Black male achievement, you are likely aware of the importance of cultural competency. A culturally competent organization brings many different behaviors, attitudes, and policies into its operational processes to work effectively in a cross-cultural setting to produce better outcomes. Cultural competency can be a key baseline for an organization to focus more explicitly on Black men and boys.
